My first meeting with Dr. Starpoli was wonderful. He listened and spent time asking questions that helped clarify my understanding about a possible new health issue. Dr. Starpoli’s use of upper endoscopy procedures, including biopsies, was used to diagnose an ongoing health issue in my stomach and lower intestine. He recommended medication that has given me greater comfort, as well as suggesting a diet protocol that has helped identify foods that have been shown to aggravate the gut. Not good! I have never met him only via telehealth. He recommended expensive products, ordered expensive test that I had to pay for. After that never heard from him or his office again. Not helpful at all! Stay far away.
I love him very much. His practice is awesome. The staff is awesome. He has always been there for me and will not stop until he gets the answers he is looking for to help his patients. I highly recommend him for everyone.

Please do not go to this doctor. The only reason why he even gets 1 star is because his office staff is very nice. He is condescending and suggests overpriced tests that do not work. I had 2 useless, expensive tests done with him and he basically gave up. As a GI doc, I think it is a sin if you don't address diet, which he doesn't come close to addressing, probably because he doesn't have a clue. Do yourself a favor and see a functional GI doc - these traditional GI docs are a complete waste.

Dr. Starpoli treats the WHOLE patient. When my digestive issues were under control he had many insightful suggestions for a spinal problem. he's patient,professional available,kind and smart. Go to him!!!
Not only did I pay an exorbitant consultation fee, he didn't tell me anything that my regular GI doctor could have.
