I volunteer at The Remington and I love it there. The staff is friendly and very caring. The facility is pristine and always has a nice energy. The residents I see always seem to be content and comfortable. Based on my experiences, I would recommend The Remington of McCandless.
Overall my experience was very good. My family and I have owned 7 Toyota’s over the last 20 years and appreciate the car(s) and service. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because twice in the last year when my Toyota was serviced, when it was returned to me, the console (in front of the steering wheel), was not on the main screen. It said “no message” and I wanted to get back to the screen that shows miles to empty, odometer, speedometer, etc. That screen should be returned to where it was (when I took it ... read more
Feels like it's going downhill from staffing to food to overall care. A malaise has set in at the place.
The staff was incredibly friendly and Knowledgeable about transitioning care.
I had so much anxiety about transitioning my Mother into a memory care facility, but I was tired and it was time. She loves it at The Remington! While no place is perfect,any problems I've had with her care or with an employee is immediately and respectfully handled,alleviating my anxiety and allowing me to take my first vacation in four years! Could not recommend it more!
