Shrimp and grits with the Hurricane made me feel like I was on Vacation. Always a great time at Another Broken Egg, Washington Road, Augusta
I got a simple breakfast of eggs sausage and potatoes. The food was aggressively seasoned, perhaps just a bit too salty. My plate had a puddle of grease which was not appetizing. I actually soaked up the grease with my napkin. My wife’s eggs Benedict had a really mushy texture and likewise was over seasoned. The waitstaff was friendly, and even gave us an order of beignets for our first time. They were okay. We really wanted to like this place. Maybe it was an off day for them.
