DO NOT see this provider for thyroid issues. I have never had such a bad experience with a doctor. I was having many issues with my thyroid, had to wait 6 months to even see a provider, and the only response I got to my questions for her was "you're in the normal range" over and over. She clearly wanted to get in and out of the appointment as quickly as possible. It was like talking to a brick wall and I left the appointment in tears. She also never followed up or responded to subsequent lab results which is irresponsible.
I've been a patient of Dr. Koshy's for about 2 years now and I've had a great experience! Her staff are friendly and always quick to respond to any inquiries. Dr. Koshy herself is professional and understanding. My diabetes management has never been better, I highly recommend her to anyone.
She refused to explain why she was prescribing anti-thyroid hormone medication when my thyroid hormone levels were low, just saying that my hyperthyroidism was "well controlled".
