My Husband and I had a chance to experience this place today. My Husband had salisbury with rice dinner plate with peas and mac n cheese (amazing and seasoned well). I had smothered turkey wing dinner plate ( turkey necks was a little tough , i wanted them to fall off the bone) with mac n cheese and yams (the best) . FOOD 8/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 ! Lemonade was 10/10 I will definitely go back and try them again and would recommend friends strangers and family as well to try them !!!!
Ms. Ruby, the owner was a delight. I stopped by during my work trip to try something local to Phenix City. I got the baked chicken, Mac & cheese, collards, corn bread. Everything was seasoned well. I'm going to be honest, since moving to Alabama, I've been extremely disappointed with the food options. They just can't cook here; but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried Ann's Place. I will be stopping here again on my next work trip down here.
First time coming I went on a Wednesday and got meatloaf, cabbage, and macaroni and cheese. It was really good especially when I wanted a home cooked meal.
