LVHN told me that Dr. Annmarie McDermott is one of the doctors in LVHN endometriosis team. However, it seems she does not have any knowledge about endometriosis or doesn't care about all my complaints about pain. Dr. M has been my doctor for nearly 20 years and is fantastic! Can't imagine any other doctor being more kind, considerate and knowledgeable! She is so trusted I recommended my own daughter (now 21) to her practice. Due to insurance reasons, my daughter was forced to try a couple other ob/gyn doctors and can not wait to get back to Dr. M! My hard to please MIL (78) is so impressed by Dr. M's professionalism she's given up her NY dr!
I hate this doctor. She was a true nightmare, wouldn’t let me get a word in, and she made me feel horrible about myself. I feel violated. She is rough when doing exams and she has no filter or sense of what to say/not to say.
