The apartments are older and need quite a bit of updating. However, the office staff, Indyah Edmondson, Sierra Hudson, Natalie are knowledgeable, diligent, helpful, professional, and incredibly supportive. They made the application and move-in processes progress much easier for me. Indyah, Sierra, and Natalie are the gems of the Annhurst/Woodland Apartments community.
BEWARE!! Do not rent at Annhurst Apartments. I have lived in hell for the past 10 months. It has only gone from bad to worse. First it was inspections weekly as the previous owners were trying to sell. Then came the annoying neighbor, I could not go outside or enjoy my door being open without being bothered. The bugs, kitchen sink knats from the drain. It has been a nightmare. Then in January, the mice showed up under my kitchen sink! WTH! We rented a 2bed2bath for a very short time (a few days?) last year. We were told the apartment was not available for a walkthrough but were able to tour the model unit, which is where the office is housed. When we walked in to the unit we had rented, the smell of ammonia was overpowering. The landlord waved off our concerns and said it was likely cleaning product. Staff is nice. I think that's the only positive thing. People have been in and out of my apartment every month since I lived here and most times without notice. The property was taken over by new management and it's not been fun. They used to be run by Elon but are now run by Morgan Properties. They've done SO many inspections which they claim to be necessary.
