Anneke Jans is probably going to be my new favorite date night spot. My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner on Saturday. It was the perfect spot for a cozy special occasion. The low light and the beautiful plants created a great ambiance. The only complaint would be the noise level. It may just have been the group of ladies sitting nearby, but it was difficult to hear my husband at times. Absolutely delicious with delightful service in a beautiful space. We loved our meal. Mussels were superb!
Despite no booking they kindly accommodated us, possibly explaining why two entrees already sold out. Two of us ordered duck on risotto. The risotto was barely warm and undercooked. The whole dish was barely warm. The sauce had this weird unpleasant smell. I've never sent back food before but I was close. I ate the duck and the greens, it wasnt great, the rest was inedible. Staff didn't seem to care much.
