Cancer can be very scary for the person diagnosed and the family. Dr. Beaven somehow makes this experience bearable. She is so friendly and caring. She talks to the patient and family in a way that we understand. She listens to our worries, answers questions and is always available. She is an amazing doctor and an even better person. There are not enough words to describe how amazing she is. We are so sad to see her leave - Duke is losing an incredible doctor.
