Dr. K is the BEST!!! Not only is he beyond knowledgeable in his field of specialties with addiction but he is like no other when it also comes to listening to his patients needs and his ability to follow through, fight for his patients when need be, and work with them. He has saved, changed my way of life! Thank you Dr. K!!!
Would give 0 stars if I could. Worst ER experience ever. Patients treated like objects and not human beings. Blankets ripped off of naked bodies and left in wheelchairs to the point of passing out. Family members ignored and disrespected by security and nursing staff. Left alone for 3+ hours in excruciating pain with no check ins and no response to call buttons. I would like to express my sincere appreciation and overall experience at South Shore Hospital Endoscopy Unit. I went in for a Colonoscopy for the very 1st time, November 9th, 2022. It couldn't have been a better experience for me. The receptionist were so friendly and polite and then the Medical Assistant was wonderful too. Sue, a Nurse on the Endoscopy floor did my intake and was out-of-this world with kindness and warmth. Nurse was incompetent didn’t no where anything or where anyone was, Doctors and Anesthesiologists couldn’t be found and could figure out why my wife was in so much pain and what to next. Bed a hard as rock, bed sheets sand paper. Place is trash
The old blonde ER nurse at the front is literally the most unfriendly person I’ve ever met. Will never come back here again. A bad night was made worse by her terrible demeanor. Made my entire family feel stupid. STAY AWAY!
I was recently in the ER at So Shore Hospital. Obviously, no one wants to end up there, but what made it bearable were two people who treated me. Nurse Melissa Kelleher and Dr Gorman. They were exceptional in taking care of me. Melissa was by my side any time I needed her. She was a Godsend. Both of these professionals went above and beyond for me and others in the ER that day. Thank you to both Melissa Kelkeher and Dr Gorman.
Awful experience. I have been in a few times and been shoved and yelled at for being sick to my stomach. The ER staff does not know how to act towards their patients. They also broke HIPPA laws by disclosing my medical information to a family member when it was private.
If I could get a half of a star award. Brother was brought there after surgery from a stroke. As a nurse it is very hard not to find faults in most cases. However this was unequivocally the absolute worst care and. Communication with family that I have ever witnessed in my life. I would NEVER send anyone to be cared for at SSH. Please do NOT have your loved one admitted there. I am absolutely disgusted by what I witnessed. Absolutely horrendous.
The worst hospital and nurses. I would advise anyone to go to another hospital and avoid this one.
