Fabulous, this place! Had the shrimp bisque for dinner last night: tons of shrimp in a very rich soup. Everything we have had from here has been excellent.
I use to love this place, until today. I live 40 min away, but just happened to be in the area today. I purchased my usual...crab cakes and Cole slaw. I prepared the crab cakes and served with the cole slaw, which tasted like raw fish. I smelled it and it did not smell good. I wouldn’t be writing this if the gentleman who answered the phone would have apologized and addressed the issue. Instead, he put me on hold while I was talking. I love this place. For the first time I tried the salmon burger, and it was wonderful.
Superior service, excellent product. Picked me out a fish, cleaned it, and told me how to cook it, and how to be sure I was doing it right. Delicious, thanks to their help. For one night I was not a disaster in the kitchen. You're not getting that level of service at the Safeway, folks.
