Great food!
ONE WORD - SUCKS.
This is probably the worst South Indian food joint I have been in the last 20 years. Apps (Onion baaji and Potato balls) dripping with oil. Depending upon which kind of dosa (We tried Mysore, Madras, Uthapam and BUtter Dosa) you order, these are either average or down right horrendous. 4 out of 8 people from our group ended up thowing up. The owner has seemed to spent a lot on decor but that is the only decent thing about this place. Eat at your own peril..... consider yourself warned!
We visited Annalakshmi and tried the sambar rice, biryani combo, Gobi 65, and Gobi Chettinad Fry. The food was okay overall, but the service needs improvement. We were served a plate with a broken edge, which should never be given to customers as it can be unsafe. Also, the water glasses were not clean. I’m not leaving a one-star review because I believe these issues can be fixed.
