Honestly, the best doctor I've ever had. Dr. Mirer is so caring and actually listens to your concerns. She doesn't just want to get you in and out of your appointment, she'll sit and talk with you and try to get to the root cause of things. I'm so thrilled she opened her own practice and that I'm able to continue being her patient. The way she thinks about stuff is just different from what I've experienced with other doctors. I would absolutely recommend her to any type of patient. 10/10 all the way.
Dr. Mirer is in a class of her own. She provides amazing, personalized, and evidence-based care. I feel safe and heard when I see Dr. Mirer. She validates and addresses my concerns, taking extra time when it is needed, and really tries to meet my schedule needs. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing trauma informed care.
Dr. Mirer was my family physician for a couple of years. Upon first meeting her, I thought she was a good doctor…bright and efficient. Through concurrent appointments, I personally found her to be opinionated and somewhat overbearing. I felt she was unprofessional in at least one occasion. The worst example of this is when I specifically requested a mammogram and DEXA bone density scan, (I told her I was overdue for a mammogram and qualified for my DEXA bone density testing), she refused to give me a referral for either. Dr Mirer is awesome, I felt so comfortable with her and she’s very personable while maintaining professional standards- which isn’t an easy thing to pull off. I’d recommend Dr Mirer to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a queer friendly practitioner or someone who’s trauma informed! Really a wonderful doctor all around!
