It turns out my pain was very real, this doctor is just uneducated, and my quality of life was not her main concern, preserving my ability to reproduce was. I stopped getting exams about 10 years ago after two different doctors became frustrated and classified me as a "difficult" exam. Dr. Fraser and her nurse listened to my concerns and were extremely considerate and understanding. Dr. Fraser was able to complete the exam with minimal physical discomfort and no emotional trauma. Thank you to both of them for caring and easing my uncomfortable situation.
