Unable to make appointment with Doctor Ashansky, because her receptionist said my son was 18 and she is a pediatric neurologist. The adult neurology group under Optum would also would not see my son saying that he was 18 and had referred me to Doctor Ashansky. We really need social medicine in this country. Her office also made me go through the trouble of a getting a referral from my son's primary physician. My son is in the hospital now because of this.

My interactions with Dr. Alshansky was nothing like some of the reviews I’ve came across. My pediatrician recommended her, I also did my research but was a little hesitant but also my pediatrician have never steered me wrong. She did make her assessment and recommended an MRI which we did and on the same day the MRI was done we contacted the office but no one was there but left a voicemail thinking maybe the next day but within the same day Dr. Alshansky called us back her self and looked at the results which she reconfirmed... read more
