I have spent all afternoon trying to schedule an echo for my child. I've faxed the order over and so has the primary care physician whos ordering it. Scheduling keeps claiming they do not have it and some rude cardiac nurse named Jane told me it takes two days to receive any order. This is ridiculous parents cannot get someone to verify a fax was sent over to schedule a procedure within a timely fashion and then to be rude is unnecessary. Parents are calling to schedule sick kids, where's the professionalism and empathy.
Showed up with bad information from the Lurie hotline about walk ins vs. appointments, the staff here were lovely and got us in despite us being in the wrong. (BTW, book an appointment). Second time coming here for blood work with our toddler, the staff are very, very good at what they do and kind while they do it.
