Dr. Mauer has been my oncologist since 2021. I am grateful for her gentle approach when interacting with me and my family. She is very knowledgeable and wants the best treatments for her patients. She is realistic and honest, and I love the nurses that work her as well.

I routinely left her office with more questions than answers. Poor bedside manner, poor knowledge of signs and symptoms. Poor facilitation of medication. With the symptoms i told her, and showed her(pictures) I had and getting less than appropriate feed back I had to then tell her to test me for certain things, and what do you know! I'm the doctor now, because I was correct and basically diagnosed myself. Id rather a doctor tell me they didn't know and will figure out the answer than to outright tell me "IDK" or "that sucks"... read more
