8/1/26 Edit: Change in the leasing office staff completely changed my feelings as a tenant of CMB, partially influencing my decision to move out early. Responses became dismissive, snarky, and careless without helping me to reach any resolution. A little bit of kindness would go a long way, but the person signing off on emails and answering the phones doesn’t seem to care much about that. EDIT 7/2026: Management became awful, breaking tenant property for no reason other than being personally unhinged. Approving something outdoors, and then deciding on his own that my stuff was now an eyesore, without updating me, shattering an aquarium and other property. They refuse to acknowledge a petition submitted to them regarding this behavior on their end, signed by a majority of the building’s tenants. TL;DR: Rude staff, lied about amenities, commonly face legal issues, disorganized management, rent $200/month overpriced. Now that I have finally left CMB, I can offer my thoughts. I lived at their Broadview Ln location. in a single-bed unit. The staff was incredibly disorganized and rude. I've lived in the same apartment now since 2024 (and have already renewed for a third year), and I'm so happy living in an apartment with AAA/CMB! I'm especially happy because Jenny, Woody, and the construction team, did a phenomenal job with a renovation and enhancement to my kitchen. You can't find a better value for your money here in Ann Arbor than with AAA/CMB!
