All of the Nurses I encountered on the mom & baby unit are precious. Anna on day shift was on top of everything, got it done! We loved her spirit every time she entered the room. She was training a student while I was there and the way she educated the student was outstanding! Brittney on nights was the soft spoken and encouraging girl I needed post partum, and she was so easy to connect with! Very intelligent, and never forgot a thing! Wish I could give zero stars. While the delivery itself was great, the postpartum care was so traumatic that it has made me reconsider having more children. Despite a healthy baby and no complications, I was not allowed to leave and was told CPS and police would be called when I requested discharge and offered to sign AMA. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could they won’t listen to the mother when she know something is wrong, I felt something was wrong in early November went to L&D here they barely did there job had me wait almost 1 hr before I was checked said nothing was wrong but literally the next day went into preeclampsia and they said the baby was perfectly healthy but had to stay in nicu for 2 weeks cause my child had a hole in his lung , not to mention when I was in preeclampsia they made me wait 1 1/2 hours before seeing a dr ... read more
Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Heineck who did my delivery and Kendra who is in lactation services! Dr. Heineck was so reassuring and encouraging and kind and put me so at ease. I had an appointment with Kendra for breastfeeding help a week later and she is not only so sweet and genuine but also was incredibly helpful! Such a good experience here.
