I purchased a DW direct drive 3-leg hi-hat stand. I took it out of the box, played with all the settings, and set it up to my desired specs. I noticed right away that the spring design is total garbage and could not believe DW would release such crap. Everything else about the hi-hat is amazing, super durable and adjustable, but the spring setup sucks.
