Beware as the receptionist at this office was rude and not helpful. When I arrived at my appointment, she said my insurance required a pre-authorization so I would have to pay out of pocket or cancel my appointment. I explained that I found Dr. Slater on my insurance portal as an in-network provider [has several 5 star reviews on it] and I didn't require any referrals or pre-authorizations with my plan. I had a very serious toe infection that spread to my toe bone. Dr. Sater was able to minimize the amount of bone that needed to be removed through surgery. I completely healed in four weeks. Also, Dr. Sater was my primary care physician’s first choice to perform the surgery.
