Excellent hospital. Patient service was friendly, very professional and responsive very fast. Food was like gourmet and the variety was impressive. The facilities were immaculate clean and well organized. No two patients sharing the same room. The tv was like 70 inches. Hackensack hospital is just over rated. Poor service with personnel having aptitude, rude. Dr Patel really did cure my chronic stomach issues with specific antibiotics. I am very satisfied.

I went to Dr. Patel because I have several GI issues. He did not examine me, he did not ask me about my symptoms, he did not ask me how I am feeling or why I am even there as to what my concerns are. He came in talking about an operation. i was confused, i never had a doctor lack communication to this degree. His demeanor seemed agitated that I was there, so we asked if he can or wants to have me as a patient, he immediately said no. Dr. Anish Patel came into the room and didnt ask any questions to review my father’s symptoms, or even examined him, instead he began discussing an operation he wanted to perform. In my opinion, this was surprising and confusing because no explanation was given about why surgery was being considered and no effort was made at getting to know my father or what hes been experiencing.
