RecommendedMy Chester-B had left leg TPLO surgery on 4/12/18 and came home the following day. Dr. Sikes was great and did his part for my sweet boy. I know it is now in my ball park to see my boy through the rest of his journey of healing. The day after Chester came home I had concerns and called the private number Dr. Sikes gave me. He was so gracious and said all was well I had just over sedated my boy a bit and was told to only sedate as needed. Very dissatisfied as we have spent over $6000.00 cash and after 7+ weeks post surgery for his foot and 10+ weeks on his operated hip he just began limping and bearing no weight on the hip. Seeking advice from Dr. Sikes today at a scheduled splint change appt. he somehow became completely defensive when asked if he stood behind his work. Dr. Sikes is wonderful. Very personable, explained everything in understandable terms, and although the surgery was expensive, I thought it was extremely fair. Took my dog in on short notice, and was available for me when I had any questions. Don't want to ever go through it again, but I would go back to him in a heart beat.
