Dishonest people Never take your pet to animal motel. I wish somebody would have told me not to so I didnt get ripped off and my dog frankie would be back to normal. I took my dog frankie there and requested a playyard which is 15 minutes of play time a day. Thats not much at all as it is, 15 mins, 8 dollars. A day. Excellent Place After reading the previously listed reviews I am schocked that anyone would rate Animal Motel at anything less than five stars. When boarding there I have always experienced exceptional customer service from the moment I walked in the door. I am confident that the staff has taken great care of my dog, who always runs into the Motel as though he has missed an old friend!! Anonymous I worked there a few years ago. The owner and manager at the time were rude to both employees and customers. I saw no outright abuse, but the environment is low-class and needs some serious upgrading. They take on too many pets at a time (money, money money) and thus end up with an environment that is overcrowded and stressful regardless of the performance of the staff. Most shelters have better living conditions.
We asked Animal Motel the hard questions directly... As my pet care arrangements fell through just a day before leaving for our trip in mid-August, I was relieved to find that Animal Motel had room to accommodate our 3 dogs at such late notice. Very Nice Boarding My Vet. recommended Animal Motel because I needed to board my 3 dogs for a business trip I was going on, so I went there to look at the place and found the staff very friendly and helpful, I was allowed to peek in the kennel and see what it was like, it was very very clean , I set up my reservation with the Animal motel and brought my 3 dogs in, everything went well with them, no problems they even got to play in the pool while they stayed there, the staff in this kennel truely does care and do the best th... read more
Don't Recommend Tours aren't allowed....with the exception of certain months. Never trust a kennel that doesn't allow daily, or at the least, weekly tours. I used this kennel twice. My dog was VERY stressed after each visit & had lost weight. He also returned home with a fear of hands. When I raised my hand to pet him, he cowered away & tucked his tail. i worked there this kennel doesn't do all you expect! many times you will pay for playtimes & they're not done with your pet. also during the busy time your small dog could be staying in a crate that u use for travel not a long kennel run. i don't recommend this kennel sorry to let u know what sometimes goes on.
animal motel On a recent unscheduled visit to this kennel, I was not allowed to view the kennel. They said they only show the kennel on certain open house days. I would not trust my dog to a place that you cannot inspect unannounced.
