Dr. Matz is the best vet I've seen in my almost 8 years of rescue work. She's compassionate towards animals and their humans and her attention to detail and the time she takes with her patients shows her level of commitment and dedication to what she does. I can’t say enough about this amazing Veteranarian practice. Over the years I have had the honor of having the AMC family care for my 4 legged family members I have found them to be dedicated, caring, always available to answer questions, VERY fair prices, extremely smart with cutting edge medical treatments. Everyone goes above and beyond from the people at the front desk who answer the phones, juggle billing, patients walking thru the door, and so much more to the medical techs to the extraordinary doctors!!! 5 STARS *****
Twice this week I had sick animals in need of medical care and my current vet is closed due to a medical emergency. I called Thursday with a cat that needed to be seen and explained my situation. They were fantastic. Happily helped out this pet owner getting us in the next morning. Had another Sat. night with my border collie having a skin reaction. I have a very strong and anxious Pit. The staff is always so helpful and patient with her... I appreciate everything they've done for us and even when I move out of town I will be making the extra drive to continue bringing my baby girl to this vet.
We used to live in CT but moved out of state four years ago. While in CT Dr. Matz and staff cared for our cats. We did not live very close but would not have gone to anyone else. Dr. Matz was our vet for almost six years. We loved that she would make house calls too. We had some serious issues with some of our cats and she handled their care extremely well. Dr. Oneil is the best vet around. she has taken care of my family's 4 dogs, 5 cats, and my guinea pig. She is compassionate and truly dedicated to the animals. I currently drive from North Haven to see her and wouldn't go anywhere else.
I am not local, but my sister and her husband have been taking their fur babies to Dr Matz for years. She is amazing!
