I must say I was very apprehensive about taking my nearly 10 year old basset hound to a clinic I had used one time for another dog. He is a very healthy dog but needed his teeth cleaned. Of course sedation was needed. I requested a basic blood test before his first ever sedation. All was fine. Cleaned his teeth, extracted the bad and set him home very alert.
