They came and took care of my cat's embedded claw. They were friendly, calming to my fur baby and thorough. The cost was, imo, reasonable for a home visit. Would use them again if I were in a bind.
I made rhe decision to have a vet come to my home and chose Animal House Calls. My old vet had spoken highly of them. The BEST decision that I've made in ages!! Dr McGowan and her assistant were wonderful. I was shocked how quickly they managed to get all the tests done. My cat wasn't upset in the least. I cant say enough great things about them. On every level 5 stars.
Dr Jen and her tech were excellent with my large cat, Beau. She was very knowledgeable and helpful regarding medication options. Did a full exam along with bloodwork. And much needed nail trim for no charge. And, she’s a very lovely person.
I called multiple mobile vets before calling Animal Housecalls Services. They were the only mobile vet to pick up my call. I needed help getting a very scared/stressed out cat into a carrier, and they were able to dispatch a tech within the hour. He was professional, and made a very stressful situation much easier. I cannot recommend Animal Housecalls Services of Toronto more! Without them, I don't think I could have managed to get the cat alone.
