They have taken care of our Rosie for 8 years now. Excellent knowledge and love for pets is obvious. Reasonable prices and even great haircuts!! We will never take our pets anywhere else!
I have been taking my cat Violet here since I adopted her 5 years ago. Their staff is so friendly (even when she isn’t 😬) and very helpful! Highly recommend!
Dr. Chaiken has been our vet for 19 years. During that time he has cared for 5 of our dogs. Animal Hospital of Valley Ranch is the best veterinary wellness clinic I have ever encountered and Dr. Chaiken is not only very knowledgable, but also a very nice person. After moving to a new home, the clinic is now 10 miles away. It would have to be at least 100 miles away for me to consider finding a new vet!
This is not the veterinarian for you if you are looking to depend on a professional for strong guidance and solid education in matters of life and death for your pet. We unexpectedly had to euthanize our four year old miniature dachshund about a month ago, partially due to the lack of Dr. Chaikin's willingness to effectively communicate risks and options for our beloved Bodhi who suffered from renal failure. This is a good place to go. I have been taking Kairo since I adopted him almost two years ago. They are honest and do not try to rip you off by scaring you into thinking the pet is extremely ill when you are nervous about something and give practical inexpensive remedies to help treat the pet illnesses and keep them well. Most of all they are patient with my dog and he is very fear aggressive with other dogs you do not find that often!! Great place!
10 paws up. I would not take my pets anywhere else. Dr Barry Chaiken and his staff are the best
Dr Chaikin has a great staff and they are so good with the dogs. Roscoe and Bruce are never nervous about going to the vet!
