Dr. Smith lives her calling. A truly dedicated friend and caregiver to animals, especially the most dire cases. Her skill level is amazing and her down to earth sensible advice on animal care is appreciated by me. Dr. Smith is one of a very special kind!
Doc Smith is the absolute best! She has a level of expertise that is seldom seen, especially when it comes to the most serious of matters. Our kitty with the shattered leg has had a near-miraculous recovery after Doc performed the surgery. He now can enjoy a long and happy life, thanks to her! The staff is excellent and caring, and with such a good location, it's not too hard to access from anywhere in San Antonio. If you truly care about your animals, bring them to Animal Hospital of San Antonio!
Dr. Smith is one of the best. I've taken my fur babies to other vets, but they never seem to get the attention they needed and just worried about the $$$. Most of the times they like to use their medical jargon and not break it down. Dr. Smith will break it down to make sure you understand whats going on. I am always recommending her to friends and family. She has truely become our family vet. My pups love seeing her.
My cat, becquerel, is super high maintenance and has his 'moments,' I was worried that given his bad temperament that no one would see him, but Dr Smith and her staff were wonderful! They made my crazy cat calm and feel much better, he survived a bad accidental poisoning thanks to their quick thinking and resourcefulness! I am forever thankful for all ya'll do!
They are friendly and Dr. Smith will go Above and beyond to do her best. It's like a family which comes with love and understanding. I tell everyone I meet that has a pet to come in and see all the smiling faces.
