Dr. Petersen and staff are the best!! I have taken my cats there for over five years. I have always had a wonderful experience. They always take the time to answer any questions and are very friendly. The cost is no higher than other places. The staff is always friendly. I have to travel a little more to go to them but it is well worth it..Both Dr. Peterens are well informed and up to date on the current information on cats and dogs.
Receptionist is worse than horrible - I won't return Extremely bad experience. The on-line reviews about the receptionist being rude were right. The customer service was extremely poor. I was a new customer and was so impressed with the on-line reviews about the doctors (The only negative reviews were about the receptionist), I called a week before and made an appointment. Horrible receptionist I just moved here and decided to go to their hospital because it was close to my home, however every time that I have been there the receptionist is very rude and acts like I am inconveniencing her. The only saving grace is that the doctor was wonderful and gentle with my puppy. If he is wise he will hire new receptionists.

Very Convenient I take all my pets here, and I have three dogs and a cat. I get a estimate of how much the costs are when I drop my pets off for the appointment, so there are no surprises :) I find the prices very good, for my big dog his annual shots were $68.00. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good vet. I was given a tour when I asked to see the facilities. The staff are always friendly. I can also drop my dogs off before work and pick them up after work for convenience as I work full time.
A note about the review below I've gone to this vet for almost 10 years. I have always been thrilled by their care, advice and thoughtfulness. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
High costs From my first visit to my last encounter I've had an uneasy feeling about taking my dogs (3) to this business. I've owned dogs for the past 30 years and have either taken them to Jones Animal Hospital or more regularly to Buttons. The reason for the change to Parkland Veterinary Clinic (PVC) was due to a move to the area due to marriage. My husband has used PVC for the past several years. Wonderful Animal Hospital We have had many pets over the years, I have had to bring a few recently to have put down as we got most our pets around the same time we moved here 12 years ago.
