Dr. Bevan is without question the best veterinarian we've ever had. She's cared for both dogs and both cats since we moved to Maryland 6 years ago. She goes above and beyond, patient with lots of questions, and has dealt with our emergency situations with the same calm she brings to every appointment. Front desk staff is always so helpful and patient, and the techs are well prepared and professional. Couldn't be happier with Southgate.
Dr. Kip helped a cat named Hunter with a hematoma. He did it at a greatly discounted price from most area vets, and worked with us to accept donations for the cat's care. We were all surprised and touched at the way people reached out and gathered funds for Hunter. Southgate vets are kind, compassionate and Dr. Kip literally said, "it's about helping the cat, not the money" and his gentle care, full explanations and willingness to answer our questions confirmed that sentiment. The doctors and staff are so caring and give top-notch service with prices that can't be beat. Dr. I kept me informed and took every precaution before performing surgery on my 15 year old dog. I would highly recommend Animal Hospital at Southgate to anyone.

Love this vet 5 stars they took great care of my noodle bug and were very reasonable.... .
Took our Chichuchua Paco to Southgate yesterday since he wasn't feeling well and not himself. His health issue was diagnosed quickly and in no time Paco was back to his old cheery jumpy self again. Southgate was recommended to us through a family friend, and I highly recommend them as well.
