I absolutely LOVE AHA!!! I'm genuinely shocked to read that anyone has had a poor experience with them! I adopted an elderly dog, knowing she had major health issues. I didn't realize the extent though (it wouldn't have stopped me from adopting, of course!). The staff is great and the treatment is top-notch.
Although I am up to date with all payments I was told I need to pre pay before they will render service to my dogs. One of my dogs had an accident that cost a lot of money ultimately. I paid them thousands of dollars within a six month time frame. Apparently, that wasn’t enough. Again, I owe them nothing right now. And, the care was sub par. I also think they hold prejudice toward certain breeds of dogs. Stay away from here. Hopefully, they will willingly send my dogs records to the next vet. I will let you know.
Tried to bring my 10 week old kitten in. They told me to call when I got there and to drop her in a carrier at the back door and they would grab her because of virus precautions. I called and they were super rude.. asked me what kind of car I was in (wtf??) And then she was sitting there for 10 minutes crying before I finally grabbed her and left. Terrible experience and rude staff. They didnt even call for another 10 minutes after I left and I just ignored the calls.
Best vet we’ve ever had for our kitties. Drs Johnson and Schroeder are very competent and compassionate, and I appreciate their style of talking with, rather than at us about health issues and making appropriate decisions.

They are so wonderful and compassionate. They’ve kept my sweet calico baby alive and in perfect comfort; they’ve comforted me through the unknown and helped me confront the inevitable good bye. I’m so grateful for them!
Caring, knowledgeable staff. Good diagnostics for difficult cases. Have taken many of my cats to them for their whole lives. Always received excellent care.
