RecommendedUpmost GREATEST animal hospital around! The staff is fantastic with your pets! And I can not say enough about Dr. Mcleod!!! Thank you to all of you for making my fur babies feel at ease to go to the vet! I love you all! 💙🐾🐾🐾 We have been going to them for about seven years, and we have been so pleased! It's just not an ordinary vet. They treat your pets, and you like family! Keep up the excellent work!
Great people and amazing with the animals!
My wife and been taking are dogs to this place since 2015. They were just as hurt as we were when we had to put our 15year old pitty sarge to sleep. They have always treated both my dogs with nothing but the most respect and care. I can honestly say that they care more about the animals than they do about the money. I will and have highly recommended this place to all my friends and families with animals. They loved sarge just as mush as we did. They always treat our 4 year old blue pitty with nothing but love.
November 20th, 2019 will be one year since Dr. McLeod and her staff took such great care of my eldest baby Sebastian Booger when he got his dental Tuesday of last year!! I was very apprehensive having never had a dental done on my fur babies and she made the procedure easy for Boogie and eased my nerves both as I sat with him that Tuesday morning until he was taken in the back. I’m in the US military and I understand the hassle of finding a caring and reliable Vet for your fur baby. That being said, the staff at Animal Health and Wellness have been nothing short of remarkable when working with my 10 year old dachshund. He recently went in for a teeth cleaning and it had been several years since his last dental, they were able to bring my old man up to date on all of his records and showed the utmost care and love when working with him. They are only about the money,they could care less about your pets!!!!! If you don't pay your balance in full after your pet has emergency surgery and also your pet passes away after surgery in their care,they will NOT see your other pets when they're sick and they will NOT release their records when you try to take your pet to another vet,but it's all good,I took my sick pet to animal ark in Clemmons and they fixed him right up!!!!!!! And I didn't bring this one home in a box!!!!!!!!!

my girl should have been offered oxytocin when I thought she needed a C-section. instead I was hustled out after loosing a puppy that was breech and stuck. Dr McCloud got the dead puppy out but when I asked about a C-section I was told to go to the emergency vet in Winston later that night if there was a problem. The x-ray showed a puppy way up, I was told to go home and wait for it. not ushered out the door. The staff is so friendly , knowledgeable, eager to help , and loving to my dogs . The facility is beautiful and immaculate. I actually enjoy taking my dogs to the vet now 😊
