I am very disappointed with the way my dog’s urgent medical situation was handled by the clinic’s front desk staff. My 7-month-old Maltese puppy has glaucoma, a serious condition that can lead to permanent vision loss. We already had an appointment scheduled for May 18, but when his second eye became inflamed, I brought him in immediately because of the urgency of the situation. The doctors and staff at Animal Eye Guys are truly excellent…knowledgeable, compassionate, and clearly dedicated to the animals they treat. Unfortunately, the wait times are consistently very long, which can be frustrating and stressful for both pets and owners. If the scheduling and flow were improved, this practice would be outstanding (5 stars).
My trouble is that they don’t update on Google that this location is not open on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s. It was really difficult to get through to anyone at all of their Sth Florida locations - after multiple tries, Fort Lauderdale lady picked up and told me they are short staffed and they rotate vets. Bird Rd location will be closed on Friday.
