Recommend Dr Smith and staff of Animal Eye Care, Gaithersburg, MD. !! Dr Smith saw our 18 year old visually impaired dog He took his time to thoroughly and patiently explain our dog’s complex eye problems and treatment plan; and prescribed medication to keep her pain free and comfortable. Connie, on staff, was also very patient, kind and very helpful
Dr. Smith and their staff are so knowledgeable, compassionate and kind. We have brought various animals to them throughout the years and they treat the animals and their pet parents as "family". We have complete trust in the decisions made by Dr. Smith which has helped us in difficult times. We are so thankful for all they do and the people they are.
Thanks to Dr. Smith for the last year our sweet boy was here on earth he could see! He was able to play ball, chase his birdy friends and be a happy boy again. The entire staff seemed to genuinely care about our boy. We can not thank you enough for giving him the gift of sight back! It meant so much to him and us! And thank you for the card.

I am beyond impressed with Dr. Smith and his staff. They are so knowledgeable and helpful! I love that Dr. Smith with only operate if it's safe and the eye and dog health are appropriate. He is very trustworthy. The office staff are so polite, no matter how many times I call with questions. My Yorkie mix had cataract surgery today. As stressful as the situation, these folks helped make it so much better. My girlie is doing fantastic!
We LOVE Dr. Smith - he's great with Dusty, compassionate with families and an all around caring guy. We highly recommend him and give 2 Paws Up!
