This is a horrible place to take your pet if you care for them at all. I was out of town and my cat was very sick and it was a Saturday, so my roommate had to take him here instead of his normal veterinarian. He ate a piece of string, and it got wound up in his intestines. The vet told my roommate that if he did not get emergency surgery that day, he would probably not make it until Monday when I got home from being out of town. They called to follow up about a week later to ask how my cat was doing.
I am not actually a patient here, but had a weird emergency with my dog and no car to drive, my regular vet wasn't open yet. While Small Animal Hospital refused to give phone advice, the lady on the phone at AEC was really friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you!!
