I don’t recommend coming here, front desk receptionist and staff came off as careless for my sweet baby boy, If I can I would give it zero stars
I took some time to decide about this review. We took our 6 year old GSD here 5/28. We noticed a limp and grew worried. After a shave, we realized he suffered from a brown recluse bite most likely. We had to put our baby to sleep. When taken to a private room to spend some time with him, they were blasting music in the back. Highway to hell and Another One Bites the Dust. If I could give zero stars, I would. AVOID THIS VET IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR DOG We brought our dog here after she was bitten on the snout by a copperhead because this was the only nearby emergency vet with antivenom available. We normally use Hog Mountain Animal hospital, who I LOVE, but they were closed. We called ahead and were told a room was ready, but after arriving we sat waiting for a long time while our dog trembled, cried, drooled, and visibly suffered in pain. Took one of our cats in with a very bad UTI / infection. Nearly $500 to be asked a few questions, get no test, no antibiotics, and only some pain and calming meds that probably cost $40. Still have to take her to our regular vet tomorrow to actually get it taken care of. I get it they are an emergency vet but this is straight price gouging, and i've been to Blue Pearl.
We had to make the heartbreaking decision to bring our dog in at 4am to be put to sleep, and I truly can’t express how grateful we are for the care and compassion we received. From the moment we walked in, the staff treated both us and our dog with incredible kindness, made sure our baby was comfortable, explained everything gently, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye without ever making us feel rushed.
