our cat Grayson Lee was unable to have a bowel moment for several days if not more so we called this vet; we were very lucky that they had an opening, very close to our home, they immediately worked on Grayson, took xrays, blood workup, fluids, enemias and had us come back each day for the week, the staff and doctors really cared about Grayson, since we can't go in with him, the doctors would call us from the office and let us know his progress..he is doing much better now thanks to these wonderful doctors and staff, Paws up... read more
RecommendedMy cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes. They have been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They definitely deserve a 5 star rating.

Absolutely the BEST vets in Louisville/Jtown area. I’ve been seeing them for 7+ years. The quality of care is top notch. Last week I adopted a pup from LMAS, with a lot of health and anxiety issues. The folks at Animal Doctors have gone above and beyond in helping our little girl adjust and get well.

My sweet 13 year old lab was having some issues and at a friend's recommendation I called Animal Doctors. During the initial visit Wendy and Dr Viniard were so kind and careful in checking Chip and answering all my questions that I felt we had a solid plan to get him comfortable and mobile. They even called a couple of days later to check on his progress. Sadly, Chip was too ill to save and when I called back in and spoke to Paige she was wonderful. I love the doctors and staff here. They are very caring and knowledgeable. Have taken my fur babies to them for years.
This is a great place to take your pet. Dr. Gayheart is an excellent Dr. Cares for your pet like it was her own. Wendy her assistant is super with the animals as well. I would never go anywhere else.
