First, I would like to say that I am happy to see so many positive reviews or experiences from this establishment, however that has not been my experience. After the bacteria check for my pup's skin issues, it was determined she has "an allergy", and to use X, Y or Z shampoos for the next 6 weeks and let's have a follow up. After bathing every 2-3 days with one expensive shampoo, then changing to another after 2 weeks of no improvement and just getting inflamed again, I tried calling to ask for advice. First issue. HORROBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.Nobody answers the phones, you only get to leave a VM. I have left 4 VM in 5 days and NOt One call back.
I highly recommend Animal Dermatology South in New Port Richey for any pet dermatology needs. Our dog had a sudden pigment change and Rebecca and the team were wonderful in sharing a cancellation that took place so that we could move our appointment sooner. We met with Dr. Bridgette and she was incredible!!!! Not only did she help our nervous dog feel more comfortable (she even sat on the floor to be at his level for the appointment), but she also wrote answers out to my questions so that we could have them afterwards.
