I can highly recommend Dr. Capron and his staff. They spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions thoroughly. Most importantly, they handled my dog so well. After a negative experience with a different animal dentist in Austin, I was wary to try again but Dr. Capron helped me feel confident. If you're not sure about which dentist to choose, try Dr. Capron first!
Several years ago, Dr. Capron was referred to me by the now-retired most fantastic veterinary cardiologist in existence, Dr. Charla Jones. My cat's mouth was pretty bad and he was in kidney failure. Dr. Capron and his wonderful staff handled him with loving care and my cat felt so much better after having the work done, that he acted like a kitten. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Capron and his staff.
Dr. Capron did a repair on my competition dog's teeth and I was very impressed by his work. He's a hard dog to work with and they handled him very well. His prices are very fair for the level of expertise he provides.
Dr. C was wonderful with my little Angel, an older Dachshund who's teeth were in pretty crapola condition when we adopted her; to save her cost a pretty 2 grand, but if you love your animal it's all worth it ! As far as communication, this office is sorely lacking, but still, if you love your petskie the pet makes up for this disappointment as well.
