I've recently adopted two cats. One likes wet food only, usually. The other only picks at the dry from Trader Joe's, wanting nothing to do with the great grain-free natural brand donated, kindly, by Animal Crackers to cats adopted from the shelter. One employee offered me a sample size of a particular food. I brought it home and he ate it like he liked eating. So I just bought a bag. Most commercial dog food is poorly regulated junk. Animal crackers is the only place in town that carries brands like Orijen/Acana,which I get for my little boy. They staff actually knows their stuff too. Reasonable prices.
Love the selection of foods, collars, leashes and friendly staff.
Not only have the employees of this store been very helpful during my few visits there, but I just received a very unexpected card in the mail, full of kind, empathetic messages regarding the recent loss of my very special dog. I've only been in the store a few times, but to have them go out of their way to send this card truly means so much. Today has been one of those rougher than usual days, and it came with perfect timing. Thank you. <3
The only independent pet supply store in Corvallis. Wonderful product selection, and not only that, but a staff that is friendly and knowledgeable about all things pet-related. And the owners are major contributors to Heartland Humane Society. So many of my clients shop here exclusively, and for good reason. My husky loves Animal Crackers! The treats/food/toys are great and tend to be top of the line products. Staff are always friendly and helpful, esp when our boy decides to mark his territory in the store! Animal crackers is always our first stop for our dog.
