RecommendedI felt my doggie was in good hands tho i did feel a bit rushed. I did have to ask a lot of questions about the treatment being provided. I had to ask to speak to the doctor since he really didn't explain much. But in the end i felt my dog was well cared for. The front desk lady was very kind and explained everything. Thank you for your kindness and patience.
I have been taking my animals to this place for many many years, and today an emergency arose and my little chihuahua started screaming & crying as though she was in major pain!! My heart broke and I jumped on the phone to call BAC and they refused to see her because they have not seen her recently and told me to take her to Sage in Concord, due to this reason!!!!! Heartless VET!!! Cold hearted to my poor baby!!! How dare you!!! You have lost a long time client!!!
I would recommend Dr. Beam. She followed up with my questions before and after surgery. She is very knowledgeable and friendly.
Great Vet Office – This was my first visit to this vet... recently since recieving my pu I have been taking him to broadway pet hospital in vallejo and it was horrible. I paid 30 dollars twice for him to weigh and touch his belly a few times. HERE I PAID A LOW FEE AND RECIEVED A WORRY FREE DAY. MY PUP HAD WORMS AND I GOT HIM CHECKED UP TOO. I ALSO RECIEVED FLEA CONTROL FROM THEM AND WHERE I WAS EXPECTING AROUND 70 DOLLARS FOR ALL I ONLY PAID 45. DEFINITLY RECOMMENDED FOR NEW PET OWNERS i GOT ALL MY QUESTIONS AMSWERED!
Best Vet in Benicia! – I just found this page and wanted to put in my two cents on Dr. Laurie and her clinic. She is a wonderful human being and has a huge heart. Yes, her office may be small, but that is not why I go there. And by the way, I have been going to her for a couple years now with my animals and I have NEVER had anybody's kids running around so that comment on here is odd to me. Best Vet! – When I read the other reviewers comments...I just HAD to comment. I LOVE this vet! Dr. Laurie is one special human who shows her care and concern for the pets that come in as well as their owners. I highly recommend Dr. Laurie to anyone who is looking for a vet for their special family member. She has been in practice for many years and bought this hospital from the previous vet. Seek care elsewhere My family is relatively new to town and we took our pets to this clinic for routine care. I am sad to say that we will not be going back to this clinic due to the inhospitable nature of the front office staff and due to the doctor making last minute cancellations as well as the doctors attitude when we peacefully raised our concerns with her office staff. As an aside, there is a great VCA clinic right down the street.
The best vet we've ever had Dr. Laurie and her staff goes above and beyond when your pet has a health issue. They tried everything for our little dog when she developed cancer--after hours, phone consultations, etc--we felt the vet really cared about helping her get better. Later, when there was nothing else that could be done, they did their best to make it painless for her and comforted us, as well. Animal Clinic of Benicia I am new to town and tried this clinic out for regular care and was a little disappointed by the staff and even the vet's kid's running around the very tiny hospital. I understand the owner has only been a vet for a few years now, but really, is it safe for children to be running around? This leads me to question how are the animals handled? The clinic was relatively clean, the staff was decent but nothing attracted me to stay a client at this hospital.
