“Dr.” Dotson is flippantly inconsiderate of the well-being and legitimate needs of injured animals. There are plenty of veterinarians in the Wichita area that would strive to ensure the health and safety of my pets leaps and bounds greater than “Dr.” Dotson—save your pets and money, take them somewhere else!!!
Doctor is a joke. While waiting in the lobby at my first visit he turned away an owner having an emergency and didn’t even recommend another vet to contact just told him he couldn’t help. Then after telling him about our dogs problem he just gave him some medicine and my dog then pooped so much blood it looked like a murder scene on our bathroom floor. Our dog ate chicken bones and was pooping blood and they didn’t even care said he would be fine, gave him some antibiotics and he’s pooping even more blood now. Vet didn’t seem to care. Wanted him in and out as fast as they could, and then overcharged us for medicine. Will never be bringing my dogs back to this careless, and inconsiderate vet.

RecommendedGreat staff. Very caring. My boy Jax was spoiled by everyone telling him how pretty he was and how much a good boy he was.
I have brought my dogs to the Animal Clinic all of my life. Dr. Dotson is an excellent veterinarian. The staff is always friendly. When my dogs go for a bath they are so clean and their nails are very short which I love!
So on Friday my mom took her chihuahua to the vet reason cause she didn’t want to eat. The veterinarian did some analysis took blood out and check if something was wrong with her. Well at the end of the day he told my mom “I have good news for you” that nothing was wrong with her and they just gave her and antibiotics shot and promised us that she’ll be fine, by Saturday notice she was feeling the same still didn’t want to eat or do anything. Our little Lucy had a great first puppy exam!
We have used the Animal Clinic for almost 7 years, for both of our dogs. We have boarded Bruno and Bella many times each(at least 10), and both have loved going to the clinic (so we don't feel bad about boarding them). Dr. Dotson and his very caring and capable staff have provided everything from surgery and boarding to important reminders about inoculation and care. We have been bringing our dog, Lola, to Animal Clinic for nearly 6 years for healthcare, grooming, boarding, and weekly doggy daycare. We have found their care to be exceptional in every aspect. In addition to excellent healthcare, we have received great advice for behavior issues and training. I really love the staff and they clearly love the animals in their care.
