Dr. Amy and Dr. O are top notch animal chiropractors/teachers. They make it easy to navigate their hybrid course where you can do some of the lectures online and then just several hands on lab weekends. You get to put your hands on animals the first day you’re there! It’s a life changing experience not only to go through their program but to then get certified and become a certified animal chiropractor. I wouldn’t be where I am at with my animal chiropractic practice without Animal Chiropractic Education Source (ACES).
Lack of empathy and compassion. Do not recommend.
Once I signed up for ACES I haven’t looked back. All the sacrifices have been worth the gain, and rewarding feeling helping these animals! My goal was to complete the course work within a year and I was able to do it in less than that while still working 40 + hours a week, and extras. UPDATE: Ava (my sweet 14 year old female Vizsla) was on her death bed just 10 days ago when I met dr Amy and Dr O! Ava has been improving nicely since they treated her. However, today she was lethargic and needed an adjustment! We just left Dr O’s - mind you it is 6:00 Sunday evening. He added iodine to her current holistic protocol and she is getting better every day. I highly encourage you to feed your dog raw and take your animals to Dr Amy and Dr O! They are amazing and have given me hope and my dog back!
My experience with ACES was unnecessarily difficult and disappointing. The course materials were outdated and often malfunctioned. Videos frequently had low or no sound, and PowerPoints from Dr. Bill Ormston and Dr. Amy Hayek were dated 2003 and 2013. On 7/9/2025, I emailed Dr. Amy with a video showing the audio cutting in and out and asked about a refund. She stated that all courses would be updated in mid-to-late August.
