Had to call this office on Friday my old dog was suffering and needed to go across the Rainbow Bridge to heaven my normal vet was out of town . They made an immediate appointment for me when I called b very understanding Dr Betts was fabulous he was very sensitive and caring they made the whole thing as easy as possible he even got a nice little soft blanket for my Chase to lay on. W ant to thank you so much I would highly recommend this vet clinic
Everyone who works at this office is caring and compassionate! Dr. Betts and Dr. Stiff have been working with my 13 year old Jack Russell through a condition she has developed. Both Drs have spent literally hours at a time with me and my dog. They are both encouraging and helpful through the decisions we have had to make. It is also heartwarming to have them call me and check to see how she is doing. I am very grateful for all that they have done and continue to do!
I am new to the area and read reviews and asked friends about vets in Gloucester. This office had the best of most. The doctors are knowledgeable about pugs and of course other breeds. Pugs sometimes have special needs and this means a lot to me to know that someone is familiar with these needs. They seem to be good with animals and have a genuine care for them.

Dr. Sue Stiff and her staff are great! After another veterinarian in Gloucester told me the lump on my cat's hind leg was nothing I went to Animal Care of Gloucester for a second opinion. Dr. Stiff feared the lump was cancerous and had it confirmed with a biopsy. Dr. Stiff helped us ensure our cat's last days were comfortable and happy. Five months later, when finally came time to have my cat put to sleep, Dr. Stiff and her staff were very compassionate during this difficult time for us. Absolutely love the staff! Doctors, techs, receptionist and kennel staff are all wonderful! Would pay so much more for the excellent medical care provided but the prices are so reasonable its a true win-win. Wouldn't trust my babies with anyone else!!
