Great Personal Care and Military Discount! We have been stationed in Frederick for 2 years now and we tried some of the larger area vets but we were never satisfied with the care and personal attention they provided. Our local kennel Greenbriar Pet Resort (also 5 stars) recommended Dr. Charles Mecenas at the Animal Care Clinic in Walkersville. We enthusiastically endorse his care and service. Great! This is a very nice little animal hospital located in the same shopping center as Safeway in Walkersville. Although, I am not very happy with the vet who happens to be the owner, the rest of the staff there is good. When a friends cat got hit by a car, the doctor actually came into the hospital during non-business hours to help us out. He was very caring and it was super nice that he would take time out of his personal life to help a stranger. They also have great prices. Not too expensive.
Great vet We had our youngest kitten declawed and neutered here and it was a great experience. (well for us!) They are very friendly and helpful staff and even let me go back to the back room to get my kitten when we picked him up. It was very clean. Prices are wonderful too and nothing is overpriced. They also usually have avaiable openings if you call that same day.
