During the last snow storm, I called Animal Care Center of Strasburg because my 18-year old cat was internally bleeding (bleeding from the mouth) and needed to be put down because she was suffering. They told me it would be $200. I said I would be there in five minutes and they said, "Sorry, the roads are getting bad and we're closing." Really? I didn't know what to do. A friend told me to call Dr. Collins. The first words out of his mouth were, "The poor cat. I can come to your house." And he did. And he only charged me $90... read more
Everyone at Animal Care Center is wonderful! I couldn't ask for a better veterinarian and staff. Anna is friendly and very knowledgeable at the front desk and Rick Hammett loves my BABY (dog) as much as I do. He cares for her as if she were his own and will only do minimal testing and procedures that are truly necessary.
WE, 4 dogs, were lucky to find this terrific doctor and caring staff. Through good or bad times they have always found the cure. We don't like the diet, but we look great. Love, Misty, Stainz, and Murphy. (RIP Butch)
