I do not recommend anyone bringing their animal to this clinic, they did unnecessary tests and sent us home twice causing my dog to suffer more and lose her life. If I would have brought my dog to another vet then maybe, just MAYBE she’d be alive today!! Not happy with this place at all, we had the female doctor who had NO IDEA what she was saying or doing! 😡 Also, the staff were very rude!
RecommendedMy naughty kitties LOVED the whole staff. Especially Dr Whalen. Kermie (who is 19) has always hated the vet. She would claw and hiss and carry on, she sat there quietly on the table accepting pets and loves. She even let them get in her mouth (something she doesn’t even let me do). My Adopted feral kitten Hissy (very aptly named) only hissed once, when she was picked up from the floor, and then actually started purring when given her vaccinations. AND it was SUPER affordable. I’ve been so impressed with all the staff at Animal Care Center. We had a small complication after surgery and while In recovery Dr Czerny didn’t think it was quit right and made the decision to go back into surgery and her institution was spot on because my Daisy was bleeding internally and they caught it and saved her life. Most veterinarians never would have caught this and we would have lost her. You will not find a more loving and caring group of people to entrust the care of your precious pets. Dr. Whalen is compassionate in his work and will do everything possible to assure the health and well-being of his patients.
The staff, other than the front desk gal, were all very rude. The girl who came out to get us didn't greet us or say her name. I could hear the staff outside our door commenting about since our cat was sooo old, he probably had "everything under the sun" as far as things wrong. They treated me very poorly and made me feel stupid for being there. We will never go back!!!
