I just had a situation resolved in a very kind and considerate manner at Animal Care Center. It wasnt a big deal, but it stressed me out a bit and they just handled it without a hitch. I nearly just let it pass, now im happy i didnt. It just makes me trust this office more. My dogs love coming to this place but sometimes i get a little jealous because Nitro likes Teresea (i think) more than me. Im a nervous pet owner and i worry about everything. I took my dog in for shots. That visit was okay. Made an appointment to get her nails cut and check her ears. She had dirty ears ans was prescribed meds. When they went to cut her nails, they said she tried to bite one of the techs. First of all, I have a pitbull who is such a big baby and has never hurt anyone. They felt a need to have 4-5 tech manhandle my poor dog. Lifting this 50+ pound dog onto the cold steel table 4 feet off the floor. Staff is unreliable and uncaring. Phoned before I went to pick up a Rx for my pet. I was told it was ready. When I arrived I was given a different story. My pet went without needed medicine. No help, no one cared. This is an expensive place to be mistreated. I found a new vet without caring people in less than 10 minutes
The way my dog was treated was atrocious! Not even a vet to remove her stitches after an emergency spay and right in the next room, not even a consultation!. $987.00 and my dog burned so bad from the heat pads she may never grow hair there again. Had to take her out to Northgate Animal in Collinsville to get her healthy and start healing. The vets there actually call you!
