We have a pretty difficult miniature Aussie doodle. They have been able to work with us to prescribe helpful medication‘s and provide helpful strategies and ideas to reduce our dogs significant anxiety and help his behavior.
Unless you have a lot of disposable income, you will not be able to afford this service. They have no compassion for Disabled Veterans living solely on disability. The cost of JUST a consultation is $465, with over $150 non-refundable deposit. That’s a huge ask for a lot of people, not just for someone on limited income. It is also ridiculous when there are no guarantees that they can even help your pet. How can you ask someone to forego paying their mortgage without even knowing if you’re able to provide effective service?
Dr. Sackman is such a compassionate teacher. She thoroughly reviews each patient case to determine their needs for their lifestyles. To watch her educate about animal behaviors is a true joy. Her passion shines through and it is clear why she is a behavior specialist. She is a phenomenal teacher for clients and veterinary staff alike.
Dr Sackman has been incredibly helpful with my service dog. I am convinced he would no longer be "in service" without her help. She walked through his challenges and helped me develop a management to both improve his reactivity and cope with his fears. I am very grateful for her assistance!
